It is surely one of the video experiences I will long remember. The images are overpowering, and the intended message is clear.
However … the most significant part of the message is ignored, circumlocuted, avoided … except by implication, and left for the thoughtful viewer to decode.
They mention a coming world population of 7 billion.
They do not mention that if we really reduced the acreage of factory farms, reduced our consumption of hydrocarbon fuels as the UN wants us to, (and the Obama Administration will try to force us to via a draconian cap and trade law) there is no way that the world can feed, much less raise seven billion inhabitants to even a fraction of what most would consider an acceptable standard of living without vastly expanding exactly what this message says we must reduce: the vast industries that are essential to now feeding, housing, clothing and transporting  the fortunate ones; such as you and me.
The terrible implication they refuse to state is that rather than allowing world population to rise from about 6 billion now, to 7 billion in a couple of decades, that must absolutely be prevented or none of the measures they advocate will be able to control ever expanding factory farming and additional energy production.
In fact, the truth is even less pleasant than that: to achieve a world that (using present technologies) tries to reduce world hunger and raise the standards of the 4 billion subsistence farmers we have now, is just as impossible.
Nor will reducing those who now live what you and I consider a decent life quality to a much lower standard allow more than a small fraction of the destitute to achieve anything approaching a decent living standard.
So they imply, but avoid saying that world population control … no; world population reduction is a hidden item on their statist agenda.
Only an all powerful, authoritarian world government can impose and enforce such measures… a world dictatorship.
China has enforced a two child policy… and their Communist government brutally enforces it.
Mao helped a bit by killing over 20 million of his countrymen a generation or so ago.
Some time back India instituted a male sterilization program to try to control population growth.
It led to massive riots in the streets and was abandoned.
A prime threat looming up in the Muslim nations, and in those nations to which they have mass emigrated, is their extremely high birth rate.
Europe’s indigenous people (France, Germany, the Dutch, et al) are reproducing at around 1.6 to 1.9 children per family on average.
That means that their culture will die out in two or three generations.
Meanwhile the European immigrant Muslims are averaging 6 to 8 children per family.
Can you see a collision approaching if a World Government tries to limit everyone to 1 or 2 children?
It is interesting that, based upon 20th Century history, advanced industrialized nations do control their populations.
That is evidence that if all the world were as advanced as they, world population would spontaneously shrink to reasonable levels.
This magnificent “documentary” is filled with clever phrases .. “may develop”; “can be as much as”; “is approaching”, “some claim the ice cap will be gone by 2015″, etc.
Also, their flat out statement that “oil is running out” is a blatant lie! We have, right within our own borders recently announced discovering oil that  exceeds what the Arabs have.
In addition, there are known methane hydrate deposits sufficient to power the Earth at present rates for 200 years. (Google “Methane Hydrates” for the DOE report)
Their statement about the polar ice caps shrinking is an absolute lie, as is their claim about the Greenland glaciers melting… and the claim that this century is the warmest on record.
I will attach a valid graph showing the ice cap recent history (see URL below).
And I suggest some “Googling” of the other claims.
Note their use of the plural: “ice caps”.
Antarctica is a continent and that ice is not melting; in fact it is increasing.
This production is very clever and betrays the propagandistic nature of this technically and artistically magnificent piece of work, that they have to resort to bald faced lies to make their point.
It is, to me, another brick in the edifice of falsified claims so recently revealed by the British e-mail leaks; so called “Climate Gate”.
It is becoming both much more difficult and far more important for each of us to question everything, including what I am telling you … as long as you also pursue your own verifications and questions of all sides… and we’ve never had so many handy tools for doing that.
I am becoming more and more convinced that Obama is not only a leader of this world wide statist conspiracy, but that he actually already imagines himself as the President of a World Government. That is why he demeans America in his speeches, why he refused to cover his heart while the Star Spangles Banner was played, and has courted the International Community at every opportunity.
But that is a minor detail in an emerging conspiracy that threatens everything we hold dear and that will, as Obama has said he intends, “to fundamentally change the United States of America.”
I pray that enough of us will see what is happening before it is too late.
And I hope everyone who reads this will also pray for our nation and for our kids, who will inherit what we wind up leaving them.

H.R. 2454, the “Cap & Trade” bill passed by the House of Representatives, if also passed by the Senate, will be the largest tax increase any of us has ever experienced. The Congressional Budget Office (supposedly non-partisan) estimates that in just a few years the average cost to every family of four will be $6,800 per year. No one is excluded. However, once the lower classes feel the pinch in their wallets, you can be sure these voters get a tax refund (even if they pay no taxes at all) to offset this new cost. Thus, you Mr. and Mrs. Middle Class America will have to pay even more since additional tax dollars will be needed to bail out everyone else.

But wait. This awful bill (that no one in Congress has actually read) has many more surprises in it.

Probably the worst one is this:  A year from now you won’t be able to sell your house.

Yes, you read that right. The caveat is (there always is a caveat) that if you have enough money to make required major upgrades to your home, then you can sell it. But, if not, then forget it. Even pre-fabri cated homes (“mobile homes”) are included.

In effect, this bill prevents you from selling your home without the permission of the EPA administrator.

To get this permission, you will have to have the energy efficiency of your home measured. Then the government will tell you what your new energy efficiency requirement is and you will be forced to make modifications to your home under the retrofit provisions of this Act to comply with the new energy and water efficiency requirements. Then you will have to get your home measured again and get a license (called a “label” in the Act) that must be posted on your property to show what your efficiency rating is; sort of like the Energy Star efficiency rating label on your refrigerator or air conditioner. If you don’t get a high enough rating, you can’t sell. And, the EPA administrator is authorized to raise the standards every year, even above the automatic energy efficiency increases built into the Act.

The EPA administrator, appointed by the President, will run the Cap & Trade program (AKA the “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009″) and is authorized to make any future changes to the regulations and standards he alone determines to be in the government’s best interest. Requirements are set low initially so the bill will pass Congress; then the Administrator can set much tougher new standards every year. The Act itself contains annual required increases in energy efficiency for private and commercial residences and buildings. However, the EPA administrator can set higher standards at any time.

Sect. 202 Building Retrofit Program mandates a national retrofit program to increase the energy efficiency of all existing homes across America . Beginning 1 year after enactment of the Act, you won’t be able to sell your home unless you retrofit it to comply with the energy and water efficiency standards of this Act. You had better sell soon, because the standards will be raised each year and will be really hard (i.e., ex$pen$ive) to meet in a few years. Oh, goody! The Act allows the government to give you a grant of several thousand dollars to comply with the retrofit program requirements if you meet certain energy efficiency levels. But, wait, the State can set additional requirements on who qualifies to receive the grants. You should expect requirements such as “can’t have an income of more than $50K per year”, “home selling price can’t be more than $125K”, or anything else to target the upper middle class (and that’s YOU) and prevent them from qualifying for the grants. Most of us won’t get a dime and will have to pay the entire cost of the retrofit out of our own pockets. More transfer of wealth, more “change you can believe in.”

Sect. 204 Building Energy Performance Labeling Program establishes a labeling program that for each individual residence will identify the achieved energy efficiency performance for “at least 90 percent of the residential market within 5 years after the date of the enactment of this Act.” This means that within 5 years 90% of all residential homes in the U.S. must be measured and labeled. The EPA administrator will get $50M each year to enforce the labeling program. The Secretary of the Department of Energy will get an additional $20M each year to help enforce the labeling program. Some of this money will, of course, be spent on coming up with tougher standards each year. Oh, the label will be like a license for your car. You will be required to post the label in a conspicuous location in your home and will not be allowed to sell your home without having this label. And, just like your car  license, you will probably be required to get a new label every so often – maybe every year. But, the government estimates the cost of measuring the energy efficiency of your home should only cost about $200 each time. Remember what they said about the auto smog inspections when they first started:  that in California it would only cost $15. That was when the program started. Now the cost is about $50 for the inspection and certificate; a 333% increase. Expect the same from the home labeling program.

Sect. 304 Greater Energy Efficiency in Building Codes establishes new energy efficiency guidelines for the National Building Code and mandates at 304(d) that 1 year after enactment of this Act, all state and local jurisdictions must adopt the National Building Code energy efficiency provisions or must obtain a certification from the federal government that their state and/or local codes have been brought into full compliance with the National Building Code energy efficiency standards.

There’s a story you’ll like that I remembered and I’m disseminating.
In the early days of WW II when we were supplying beleaguered England with combat and other aircraft, the only way to get them there fast and ready to fight was via flying the North Atlantic.
The planes flew from the US to Goose Bay Labrador, and on to “sunny southern Greenland” at a field we called “Bluie West One” (some sort of code, I believe). The location was, and still is actually called Narsarssuak (Google it for images) and I landed an F-84G there in Nov. 1952, while flying it from Georgia to Balikesir, Turkey delivering it to the Turkish Air Force… but that’s another story.
Now, radios were fairly short range in the ’40s so guys would sometimes approach BW 1 only to be told it was socked in.
It is located at the north end of a long fiord between hight peaks.
( The runway back then, and when I flew the F-84 there, was up a gentle slope, towards a glacial moraine, between cliffs, and ended not far from the face of the glacier. You could not go around, at least not in an F-84 or equivalent.)
In WW II, that it was socked in was bad news, as they rarely had gas enough to get to Iceland nor to return to Goose.
So someone came up with this.
They placed a low frequency radio beacon on the Greenland glacier .
Stranded pilots were directed to fly out to the south east and turn in at a set heading and altitude towards the beacon, drop to final approach airspeed, drop flaps and set up minimum flying speed, gear up until they grounded out on the gradual upward slope on the smooth surface of the glacier.
The Greenlanders would dispatch a rescue dog sled team and haul the guys down to the base.
There was a story going around for a while about a crew that landed a PBY Catalina flying boat that way in zero/zero conditions. Now the Catalina is famous for taking off, cruising and landing at 90 knots.
These guys were on solid instruments and could not see a thing. They were tensed up and waiting for the impact with the glacier … when suddenly there was their crew chief up on the nose wiping the snow off their windshield and hollering at them to cut the engines! They’d grounded out so smoothly in that bird (that vibrated anyway!) and were unaware of touching down.
The result is that there is an unknown number but significant fleet of perfectly preserved WW II aircraft now buried a few hundred feet under the Greenland ice cap; a result of all the snow that precipitated since WW II.
Clearly, any day now, due to Global Warming, they will begin to be revealed to a waiting world and to an eager bunch of antique aircraft aficionados … who have been having to pay millions to acquire and restore such aircraft from the dwindling supply of surviving birds.
What? No one has gotten involved in such an enterprise ? Why? Because the aircraft have not been “popping up” as expected?
But how can that be?
My insidious purpose is, of course, to call public attention to the fact that if the Greenland ice cap were indeed melting, a bloody fortune in perfectly preserved WW II aircraft should begin popping up any day now.
There was one effort that succeeded in recovering a P-38 from under a 50 year accumulation of snow packed ice.
