Questions:
Israel is “known” to have nukes.
The US has developed ground penetrating conventional bombs.
Looks like a natural match to me.
Also: Even with Saudi tolerance of overflight, some Iranian targets are a stretch for Israel.
Israel is clearly capable of producing 2000 mile range ballistic rockets.
I am betting that they have such rockets that can deposit ground penetrating warheads holding nukes on the known prime potential nuke producing facilities in Iran.
Unfortunately, the US leadership does not appear able to muster equivalent decisiveness with respect to N. Korea.
And our ally, South Korea is every bit as vulnerable to a N. Korean nuke attack as are the Gulf States from an Iranian nuke capability.

Thanks for confirming what I described several months ago.
It is not that I am claiming to be particularly smart.
Hell, isn’t this an obvious method for circumventing security methods?

I also cited other, to me at least, obvious ploys:

1. Plastic rectal cartridge inserts … much simpler than surgical implants. They can be “turd shaped” and mixed with normal stool. Or similar vaginal inserts in actually pregnant females.
2. Soda bottles with pressure sensors that also contain plastique that explodes when the innocent passenger pops the top. The cans will be mixed in with the regular catered food by a subversive working at the food supplier. Tell me, are those people subject to security clearance standards? I seriously doubt it. After all, even we cannot check literally, a  million people. All of this makes the current effort to spend several billion on the external body scanners a total waste of time and money and a near useless aggravation to airport passengers. And I refuse to believe that the male agents can refrain from re-visiting the scans of well endowed females.
3. I’ve also tried to alert people to the (to me,at least) obvious method of attaching nukes to the underwater hulls of tramp steamers in foreign ports, unbeknownst to their crew, and setting them off via cell phone after they are docked in a US harbor.

My being able to so predict apparent gaps in our security efforts is in itself frightening, as I am a rank amateur on terrorism methods, whereas our enemies must spend every waking hour thinking about such things.
Sooner or later we will run out of luck like having a courageous, and anonymous Dutch passenger who prevented the “Christmas Bomber” from creating a catastrophic disaster.
Sure, I pray that the USA will continue to enjoy “fortuitous” good fortune.
But at some point God may decide that we must learn a tough lesson.
Losing two or three major ports and their adjacent cities near simultaneously would make 9/11 after effects trivial by comparison.

Terrorist  Booby Traps

FEMALE suicide bombers are being fitted with exploding breast implants which are almost impossible to detect, British spies have reportedly discovered.
The shocking new al-Qaeda tactic involves radical doctors inserting the explosives in women’s breasts during plastic surgery — making them “virtually impossible to detect by the usual airport scanning machines”.
It is believed the doctors have been trained at some of Britain’s leading teaching hospitals before returning to their own countries to perform the surgical procedures.
MI5 has also discovered that extremists are inserting the explosives into the buttocks of some male suicide bombers.

Lethal

Terrorist expert Joseph Farah claims: “Women suicide bombers recruited by al-Qaeda are known to have had the explosives inserted in their breasts under techniques similar to breast enhancing surgery.”
The lethal explosives called PETN are inserted inside plastic shapes during the operation, before the breast is then sewn up.
The discovery of these methods was made after London-educated Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab came close to blowing up an airliner in the US on Christmas Day.
He had stuffed explosives inside his underpants.
Hours after he had failed, Britain’s intelligence services began to pick up “chatter” emanating from Pakistan and Yemen that alerted MI5 to the creation of the lethal implants.
A hand-picked team investigated the threat which was described as “one that can circumvent our defence”.
Top surgeons have confirmed the feasibility of the explosive implants.
One claimed: “Properly inserted the implant would be virtually impossible to detect by the usual airport scanning machines.
“You would need to subject a suspect to a sophisticated X-ray.
“Given that the explosive would be inserted in a sealed plastic sachet, and would be a small amount, would make it all the more impossible to spot it with the usual body scanner.”
Explosive experts allegedly told MI5 that a sachet containing as little as five ounces of PETN could blow “a considerable hole” in an airline’s skin, causing it to crash.

Sometimes it is really painful to be right.
When are our “Security” people going to start thinking ahead of the killers instead of reacting to their initiatives?
And when will we initiate above & below the waterline/internal & external inspections of incoming ships outside twenty miles from our shores?
Can’t be done?
Too many ships?
Then we better brace ourselves for loss of a harbor city…or two…or more.
Is anyone planning how to respond to the aftermath of such an attack?
i.e., document the probable effects…
Prompt is easy.
But what about the economics of a post-nuke attack ?
Examine what was affected by the 9/11 attack and extrapolate those effects to post nuke explosion(s).
If that has not already been done, in depth and with counter-strategies, we are being set up to die as an effective nation.
One suggestion:  Stockpiling non-perishable food in locked and guarded warehouses… enough to feed the populations cut off from “just-in-time” replenishment of our super markets for at least three months.
The alternative?
Post attack food riots, civil society breakdown, hundreds of thousands dead when “just in time” food distribution systems fail.
We should be planning how to deal with every aspect of society after such an attack.
I’ve heard of no sign of that.
Our civilization is so fragile, so dependent upon complex and highly vulnerable systems, that it offers horrifying opportunities to terrorists.
No way we can make ourselves “safe” … but we can mitigate the worst outcomes and offer the terrorists a far less vulnerable target.
Fear of a hysterical public response to revelation of such plans is akin to whistling past the graveyard; yes, there will be such response.
That’s where mature leadership comes in.
No degree of public panic when the possible truth is exposed, will even remotely approach the catastrophes that will follow if timidity is allowed to prevent vital planning and preventative measures while we still can.
Our leading security people just testified to Congress that they consider another terrorist attack this year to be certain !!
So everyone thinks “underwear bomber”.
They did not say that.
And Sen. Feinstein did not ask them what kind of attack they are expecting … and if she had, I believe they would not have specified a type.
Why?
Because there are so many ways that no one can possibly catalog them all.
And that’s why they said an attack is certain.

LONDON – Agents for Britain’s MI5 intelligence service have discovered that Muslim doctors trained at some of Britain’s leading teaching hospitals have returned to their own countries to fit surgical implants filled with explosives, according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

Women suicide bombers recruited by al-Qaida are known to have had the explosives inserted in their breasts under techniques similar to breast enhancing surgery. The lethal explosives – usually PETN (pentaerythritol Tetrabitrate) – are inserted during the operation inside the plastic shapes. The breast is then sewn up.

Similar surgery has been performed on male suicide bombers. In their cases, the explosives are inserted in the appendix area or in a buttock. Both are parts of the body that diabetics use to inject themselves with their prescribed drugs.

The discovery of these methods was made after the London-educated Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab came close to blowing up an airliner on Christmas Day with explosives he had stuffed inside his underpants.
