Inevitability

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

This article says eastern nations must massively increase their food production to avoid widespread hunger in the next generation.

http://en.mercopress.com/2010/07/08/asia-needs-to-double-food-production-in-the-next-decades-warns-fao

What it does not say is that only “factory farming” can meet this challenge.
That is, use of massive machinery (combines, harvesters, sorters, packagers, etc.) and heavy use of chemical fertilizers will enable the rapid and massive increase described.
And distribution will require fleets of internal combustion powered vehicles… or electrically powered vehicles that will consume power provided by many, many new coal fired (as now in China) or nuclear power generation facilities.
Once again, irrationality is leading us full tilt into catastrophe … either of famines, or of claimed environmental impacts.
China’s forced limitation of family size is looking as cruel as ever … but also may be the only way to avoid mass starvation or worse.

New Traffic Law

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

???????????

Beware new law of the land.

Something we all need to know.

New Traffic Law 2010

New Law: If a patrol car is pulled over to the side of the road, you have to change to the next lane (away from the stopped vehicle) or slow down by 20 mph. Every state except Hawaii and Maryland and the D.C. has this law. In California , the “Move-over” law became operative on January 1, 2010. http://www.moveoveramerica.com/ A friend’s son got a ticket for this recently. A police car (turned out it was 2 police cars) was on the side of the road giving a ticket to someone else. He slowed down to pass but did not move into the other lane. The second police car immediately pulled him over and gave him a ticket. He had never heard of the law. It is a fairly new law that states if any emergency vehicle is on the side of the road, if you are able, you are to move into the far lane.

The cost of the ticket was $754, with 3 points on your license and a mandatory court appearance. Please let everyone you know that drives about this new law. It is true (see details at the following web address). http://www.snopes.com/politics/traffic/moveover.asp

Saudi Arabia gives Israel clear skies to attack Iranian nuclear site, & Muslim thinking

Monday, June 14th, 2010

Questions:
Israel is “known” to have nukes.
The US has developed ground penetrating conventional bombs.
Looks like a natural match to me.
Also: Even with Saudi tolerance of overflight, some Iranian targets are a stretch for Israel.
Israel is clearly capable of producing 2000 mile range ballistic rockets.
I am betting that they have such rockets that can deposit ground penetrating warheads holding nukes on the known prime potential nuke producing facilities in Iran.
Unfortunately, the US leadership does not appear able to muster equivalent decisiveness with respect to N. Korea.
And our ally, South Korea is every bit as vulnerable to a N. Korean nuke attack as are the Gulf States from an Iranian nuke capability.

It will be more than criminal if we allow Muslims build a mosque on the site where 3000 Americans were slaughtered (by Muslims!)

You absolutely must watch this short video. It is a common Muslim practice to build a mosque in order to occupy and secure conquered land. This is what they are doing here and elsewhere in the context of the 911 attacks.

WAKE UP AMERICA!
